When is "Thank you for your service" not enough? Let's go further than just words, and heed the call to action for the benefit of our Military Service members and families.

Our country continues to be the beacon of freedom and liberty in the world. We are indebted to all of our Military Veterans, Military Contractors, Active Duty Troops, National Guard and Reserves for their service and sacrifices to earn and preserve these cherished qualities of our nation. We must not forget their families - parents, spouses, children, and friends who hold the home front. But are we, as American citizens, doing enough to show our love and support for these brave individuals and families? Whether our military members serve at home or abroad, how are we caring for them and those close to them? Do we provide the resources they need when they come home? Do we even know our neighbor, or what kind of support they need? Words of praise for these brave souls only go so far. It is time for action.

Here at Lutheran Military Veterans and Families Ministries (LMVFM), we understand the unique challenges that our solders face, both on the battle field and upon their return home from duty. We also understand the challenges faced by those they leave behind. Our mission is to provide FREE counseling and resources for our military brothers and sisters - and their family members! We need your help in this mission, and ask that you become an extension of our ministry for military members in your area. We provide training to you and your network of community, church and other organizations so that you too can show the love and support that is unique to the soldier and their family.

Let's work together, for the sake of our military, to support them in a positive and life changing way.  Let's put our words into action, together. Please contact us today to help you make this happen in your neighborhood.
