About Us
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and God of all comfort, who comforted us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort ourselves have received from God." (2Cor 1:3-4)

What sets the LMVFM apart from social services and governmental agencies? This military veterans/family care ministry is the human extension of God’s love reaching out through His people, ministering compassionately to all veterans (current and past) and their families. This ministry addresses the Spiritual, mental, emotional and physical needs of veterans and their families. The foundation for this ministry is an active response to both the great Commandment and the Great Commission of our Lord. |
Our mission is to
- Provide short-term pastoral counseling and needs evaluations for veterans and their families.
- Assist veterans and their families in identifying available local community resources that can provide continual long-term care for them and their families (social services, congregations, and governmental services, etc).
- Assist veterans and families in the VA process (filling out forms, contacts numbers, etc).
- Provide encouragement and support for military families when their loved ones are deployed.
- Provide training and educational resources for church ministries and outside organizations working with military veterans and their family members.
- Serve as a primary military ministry resource to congregations by equipping them in their ministry of outreach to veterans and their families in the church and local community (i.e. special training for pastors and care ministries).
