A Compassionate Path Toward Healing

LMVFM provides services for people who carry visible and invisible wounds. Our trained dogs may help a veteran feel safe enough to share experiences, attend a church service, join a small group, participate in a retreat, or meet with a chaplain or mentor. The dog’s presence can create a bridge back into community.

From a ministry perspective, this work reflects the heart of pastoral care: meeting people where they are, honoring their dignity, and offering support without judgment. Scripture calls us to bear one another’s burdens, comfort the weary, and care for those who have served sacrificially.

Our dogs have been training from the day they are born and are chosen from specific breeders that begin conditioning on day one. We continue the training and conditioning right here, and the more people they interact with the better. When you meet them, remember to show your appreciation.
